    This page is NOT for challenging the outcome of deletion discussions or to address the pending deletion of any page.

    Shortcuts

    Requests for undeletion is a process intended to assist users in two cases. The first case is restoring pages or files that were uncontroversially deleted via proposed deletion, under certain speedy deletion criteria (such as maintenance deletions (G6) or stale Articles for creation drafts (G13)), or in deletion debates with little or no participation other than the nominator. In the second use case, this page is also intended to serve as a central location to request that deleted content be "userfied", i.e., restored as a draft or emailed to you; this way, the content can be improved upon prior to re-insertion into the mainspace, or used elsewhere (you may also make a request directly to one of the administrators listed here). Be clear as to which namespace is intended, when requesting the restoration of a deleted article.

    This means that content deleted after discussion – through deletion processes – may in some cases be provided to you, but such controversial page deletions will not be overturned through this process but through deletion review instead. Copyright violations and attack pages will not be provided.

    Do not request that pages or media deleted under speedy deletion criteria F7, F9, F11, U5, A7, A9, A11, G3, G4, G10, G11 or G12 be undeleted here.

    Template:Manitoba rail network

    Similarly to the template for Alberta, this template was also also uncontroversially deleted due to being unused. Like the Alberta template, I believe it can be added to the Manitoba article under its transportation section. —OrdinaryScarlett (talk) 03:14, 24 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

    @Graeme Bartlett: I was not part of the discussion but I strongly support the undeletion of this template. The user that advocated for deleting the Manitoba template mentioned two cities, Edmonton and Jasper, that were not shown. Both are in Alberta, which is why they did not appear on the Manitoba diagram. They answered their own question. Regardless of the outcome of this discussion, I have already created a new diagram depicting rail stations in Manitoba (in a sandbox). As mentioned by OrdinaryScarlett, there have been agreements made so that route diagram templates may be used on just one page, as many often are, due to their fragile code.     I would support a restoration of the template. The TfD came with a delete result because of two delete !votes and a draftify to userspace recommendation. However, the template is similar to many others like special:WhatLinksHere/Template:Ontario rail network (and others listed there) which have only one link to an article each. Since the op stated that the template will be used, I do not see a reason not to restore the template. If I were an admin, I would fulfill the requests per the points here.     While I understand the prior-mentioned reasons for the deletion of the article (I have since read up on rules and requirements for future additions to Wikipedia), Aaron Feltham has since qualified himself for the brier as his team Team Dilello won the 2025 Newfoundland and Labrador Tankard which makes him a fair addition according to the WP:CURLING (to my understanding). As a result of this I am requesting the undeletion.

I am confident this actually passes the NFCC and the user who removed it from the page had an error in judgment.     The article was deleted on 18:05, 5 April 2023 due to concerns about notability (WP:BIO) and significant coverage (WP:SIGCOV). However, I have found new, reliable sources that provide in-depth coverage of his impact.
